"My
wife & I are gardening fanatics and the garden was what partly
drew us to stay at Honeycombe. We were certainly not dissapointed.
All the spring shoots were coming out and it looked lovely. It certainly
gave us some ideas for ours at home!" George &
Caroline, London, March 2012

snowed whilst we were here and the cottage was so snug & cozy.

this place and have told several friends about it already." Sophie

break for us!" Lesley & Richard, Oxford, November

"Booked
just one night at this gorgeous cottage. What can I say, absolutely
stunning cottage. Heather is a lovely lady and made us very welcome
with a cup of tea sat in her beautiful garden in glorious sunshine.
We stayed in the bedroom with ensuite and this was lovely with views
of the gorgeous garden. Breakfast was equally as great. Would highly
recommend this cottage. Just a shame we had to leave. Thanks Heather
for a very warm welcome into your home." Charlie
& Ant, Mansfield, August 2011
"Why
can't all B&B's be this much like staying with friends! What a
home from home!" Georgina & Rupert, Yorkshire,

in a very comfortable bed. Highly recommended B&B." Edward

were down for a Family Wedding nearby and the Cottage was such a lovely
surprise as our Children had organised it for us as a treat! We will

"The
Cottage was exactly how we imagined an English Country Cottage to
be! Where we are from in the States, we think a 100 year old house
is very old, so stepping over the doorstep into Honeycombe Cottage
took our breath away! A wonderful stay which was the highlight of
our Trip to visit my Son, who has settled in the UK. Thank you!"
Dave & Penelope, Los Angeles, USA, January 2009
"We
still can't get over how comfortable the bed was! It was also so calm
& peaceful - not a single sound to disturb us. We thoroughly recommend
this beautiful cottage if you are wanting to escape the noise and
chaos of a City!"Jack
& Lorna, Dublin, November 2008
"What
a wonderful view to wake up to - your breakfast under the apple tree

peaceful - a great place to unwind."
Simon & Deborah, London, August 2008

nook & cranny just exudes history - what a garden aswell! We found
it so very hard to leave. The fact that the Cottage was built within
50 years of America being founded just blew us away!" Bethany
& Jake, NYC, USA, June 2008
"The
cottage brought our Thomas Hardy Tour to life - thank you! We were
within walking distance of Kingsbere Church and the Tomb of the D'urbervilles
- fantastic!" Flip & Sandra, Sydney, Australia,

"I
have been ill for some time and my wife has cared for me so well,
so I wanted to show her how much I appreciated her love and devotion.
I thought a holiday would be good and luckily I stumbled across Honeycombe
Cottage and we immediately fell in love with it. Seeing it for the
first time exceeded all expections - what a beautiful cottage, set
in lovely surroundings. It really is a place of tranquility and the
batteries were recharged in no time. Nothing was too much trouble
for Heather. The breakfasts were wonderful, as were all her stories
about Africa. Iam already making plans for a return visit next year.
I couldn't recommend this place highly enough!"
James & Jill, Belfast, September 2006

is very accommodating and a great cook aswell - Iam a big fan of cooked
breakfasts and she certainly provided a memorable one! Will definately
be recommedning this place to friends of ours back in Scotland!"
